Two-zones Thermal Shock Test Chambers

Thermal Shock Test Chambers are a necessary testing equipment for metal, plastic, rubber, components, electronics, communication devices, automotives, military devices and other material industries to detect the chemical change or physical damage of the test specimen caused by thermal expansion and contraction in the shortest time.

Overview

The two-zones thermal shock test chambers have two test spaces, the upper part is the high temperature area, and the lower part is the low temperature area. There is a transmission system in the middle with a hanging basket. The hanging basket will be loaded with test specimen during the test, which will automatically move through the upper and lower temperature areas according to the program, to test the rapid change of the test specimen in the high temperature area and the low temperature area.

Features

  • The thermal shock chamber’s external structure is made of 1.5 mm thickened steel plates, with well high temperature paint coated treatment for outstanding rust resistance, and not easy to scratch on the surface.
  • Internal structure is made of 1.2 mm thickened SUS 304 stainless steels, fully welded for better sealing and sturdy performance.
  • Temperature ranges from -55°C to 150°C or customized as per requirement.
  • Basket: made of stainless steels, resistant to high and low temperature changes.
  • The door adopts double-layers silicone sealing materials, without air leakage.
  • Observation window is made of four-layers tempered glass. A 24V heating wire is built around the glass, to avoid any frosting to generate on the glass during low temperature testing. Its dimensions can be customized as specific requirement.
  • LED lamp belt is installed inside for a better view. Brand Philips, with a long lifetime.
  • On the right side and left side of the test chamber, there is one 100 mm- diameter cable access port accordingly, with anti-temperature silicone plugs.
  • The safety lock utilizes the principle of leverage, and the user can save effort and lock it firmly with ease. It comes with keys, so when it is locked, the user can take away the keys in case that others open it by mistake.
  • Cooling System: The thermal shock chambers use a two-stage refrigeration system, that is two refrigeration compressors (special custom test chambers are sometimes even equipped with four refrigeration compressors.
  • The cooling rate is very efficient and stable, and saves energy and reduces consumption, making the service life of the compressors longer.
  • Electrical Circuit: The electrical circuit system is designed as per the international standards, easy for any engineer to understand. The test chamber will be delivered with a complete circuit diagram when it is shipped.
  • Each line is marked with a clear line number and distinct color, which is convenient for daily maintenance, repair and replacement of parts.
  • The electrical components are all well-known international brands with a high quality, such as Schneider, Danfoss, Rainbow and so on. The user can easily find and buy spare parts of such brands from local markets.
  • The circuit system is arranged according to international standards, and the test box will be equipped with a complete circuit diagram when it is shipped.
