Steady State Sun Simulator

Steady-state Simulation Machine or Simulator is designed for MQT09 (hot spot test) specified in IEC61215. The light class is BBA, manufactured as per for IEC 61215-2: 2021.

Structure detail

  • Internal Material: 0.8mm total reflection bean-grained aluminum sheet is adopted;

Functional characteristics

  • Heat insulation wall compose the chamber. High reflectivity bean-grained aluminum sheet are installed at the inner side of the chamber to effectively apply the light.
  • Electric load is applied to select the hot spot cell.
  • Irradiance intensity could arrive up to 1300W/m2.
  • Each lamp is individually controlled by temperature and irradiance control system.
  • The irradiance, temperature can be monitored and recorded.
  • IR camera is applied to test the temperature.
  • IPC with Window 10 operation system and 19” display are applied to monitoring, recording the data. All the data could be stored in the hard disc as CSV/EXEL/PDF format.
  • Pre-set the parameters including temperature, running time, and cumulative radiant intensity. When the running duration/cumulative radiation reached, the equipment will automatically stop.
