Li-ion Battery Anti Explosion Temperature Test Chamber

The new energy lithium battery anti-explosive high and low temperature test chamber is mainly used for long-term continuous tests of high temperature, low temperature, damp heat, temperature alternating cycles and other items of various large batteries. The test items cover system thermal diffusion, external fire, mechanical shock, simulated collision, damp heat cycle, Vibration and water soaking, external short circuit, over-temperature and over-charging, etc.

Overview

This explosion resistant high and low temperature battery test chamber is used to test the performance of lithium batteries for repeated charge and discharge and cycling tests. It simulates the use environment in hot and cold extreme environments, avoiding the danger caused by battery leakage or explosion during use and transportation.

It has an explosion resistant pressure relief hole. When the pressure in the box reaches a certain level, the pressure relief hole will automatically open to release the pressure. The door is equipped with hinges to prevent the door from springing open due to pressure overshoot. In addition, it is also equipped with a carbon dioxide automatic fire extinguishing system. When there is smoke or sparks in the test chamber, it will automatically spray carbon dioxide gas inside to extinguish the fire for safety.

Used by li-ion battery manufactories, automotive manufacturers, science and research institutes, testing institutes, etc.

Features

  • With double-layers stainless steel anti-explosion observation glass.
  • With anti-explosion hinges on the door.
  • With fire and smoke alarms and automatic extinguish fire device.
  • Pressure release device, anti-spark design, smoke alarm, intake and exhaust device,
  • Sprinkler fire extinguishing device, compressor overpressure and overload, fan motor overheating, complete machine under-phase/reverse-phase, over temperature, overall equipment timing, leakage protection, overload and short circuit protection
  • Famous brands such as Schneider, Tecumseh, Bitzer, Rainbow, Weinview, Danfoss, etc.
  • Convenient to get access at local market for daily maintenance and after-sales troubleshooting.
  • 7″ size touch screen controller, easy to set test procedure and data.
  • Easy to get access to test records, curves, data, etc via Lan, USB, etc.
  • Pressure release device: When the pressure in the test chamber is too high, the high-pressure gas is quickly discharged, and the alarm is triggered.
  • Anti-spark design: The test chamber is well grounded to avoid sparks caused by static electricity, and the fan and impeller are designed with a safety gap; special materials are used to avoid sparks generated during mechanical friction and collision; the electric heating tube heater is equipped with a fail-safe temperature switch to prevent the heater surface from overheating or spark.
  • Smoke alarm: With a smoke detector, when the smoke detector detects that the smoke is too high, the device will alarm and automatically open the exhaust device.
  • Inlet and exhaust device: Equipped with one inlet and one exhaust hole, which can be manually opened when harmful gas comes out, and the harmful gas is discharged out of the chamber and connected to the outside through the exhaust duct to avoid the harmful gas from harming the operator (when the temperature probe in the chamber senses that the temperature exceeds 100°C, the air exhaust will be automatically working).
  • Sprinkler fire extinguishing device: A fire-fighting interface DN65 is arranged on the side of the box; firefighters can directly connect the fire hydrant from the outside of the box; the sprinkler head is installed on the back side of the box to prevent condensed water from dripping onto the test piece.
  • Air Drying: The compressor air interface and control solenoid valve are reserved for compressed air charging. The equipment manufacturer is responsible for the construction and connection of the compressed air construction. The side of the equipment needs to be equipped with an oil-water separator and a compressed air switch.
